About the Role
Infosys is looking for a Lead Python Software Engineer.

In this position, you will engage with essential stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle using Python.

Your responsibilities will include constructing high-performance, resilient systems with tasks such as requirements gathering, application architecture, and design definition.

Key Responsibilities
- Create high-level design documentation.
- Deliver high-quality code outputs for a module.
- Lead validation efforts for all testing types.
- Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

You will be part of a collaborative learning environment where teamwork is encouraged, excellence is acknowledged, and diversity is embraced.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proficiency in Python and Spark is essential.
Preferred Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Python and Pyspark.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Hadoop.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Database Development.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle.
- Experience in project life cycle activities for development and maintenance projects.
- Willingness to work in application and production support.
- Experience in the Banking sector is a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience and eagerness to work in a Global delivery setting.

This role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Communication may occur via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions. Travel may be necessary based on job requirements.
