Job Summary

In this position, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. It is essential to note that as a Medical Professional in this role, you will not make disability determinations; rather, you will provide critical medical opinions to support the VA's decision-making process.

This is an in-person position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license, proficiency in using computers, and strong analytical and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process
  • Review medical records electronically through a web portal
  • Perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran
