About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Representative to join our team at SV Academy. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our customer base. If you have a strong passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven attitude, we encourage you to apply.
**Job Summary:**
As a Business Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities. You will work closely with our team to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with potential clients, and negotiate deals. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, combined with your ability to understand client needs and manage the negotiation process effectively, will be essential in achieving success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**

Focusing on top-of-funnel activities, including gathering prospect data, educating prospects, qualifying leads, and booking meetings;
Utilizing our CRM tool to contact marketing-generated prospects and new leads from business directories and other sources;
Initiating conversations with prospects via phone and email to understand their needs and explain how our company's products and services can fulfill those needs;
Collaborating with colleagues to exchange information, such as lead qualification, selling strategies, or marketing information;
Establishing and maintaining access to decision-makers and end-users in prospective client companies;
Keeping detailed account records in the CRM tool;
Developing a deep understanding of our company's product offerings and staying current on industry trends and internal product developments;
Researching emerging technologies, trends, and competitive landscape;
Meeting or exceeding qualification targets and objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
Conducting outreach to prospects, delivering product demos, and showcasing the value of our company's offerings;
Building and managing a robust sales pipeline and achieving sales quotas;

Must be willing to come to work onsite in our Denver office 3 days a week and work remotely 2 days a week;
1-2 years of business experience, including customer service or engagement (sales experience preferred);
Results-driven attitude with a strong work ethic;
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a high level of initiative and perseverance;
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to understand client needs and manage the negotiation process effectively;
Excellent time management skills;
Willingness to travel to trade shows and events as required;
Prior experience meeting or exceeding quotas is preferred;
