About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Operations Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our nuclear operations by developing, delivering, and overseeing training programs for our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and technical support to enhance operational performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training materials across a range of nuclear operations disciplines.
  • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Manage the accreditation process for training programs and maintain compliance with industry best practices.
  • Utilize technology platforms to manage training records, track progress, and facilitate communication.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and enhance training effectiveness.
  • Support emergency response teams and contribute to the overall safety culture of our organization.

Qualifications

  • A strong educational background in science, engineering, or a related field, coupled with extensive experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (I&C), Maintenance, Engineering, Radiological, or Chemistry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor individuals at all levels.
  • A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements within the nuclear industry.
