Patient Care Technician

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with hemodialysis treatment, including setting up and operating dialysis machines, and monitoring patients' vital signs.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment and facilities.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; certification in patient care or dialysis technology preferred.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
