Culinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to lead our food service department at HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and culinary expertise to drive the success of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Food Service Management: Manage the food service department to provide excellent service and quality, ensuring that our patients, staff, and visitors receive a high-quality dining experience.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect, and lead team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments.
- Menu Development and Planning: Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to develop menus that are in line with market trends and deliver nutritional value, and manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance.
- Customer Service and Satisfaction: Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer and patient satisfaction through communication, integrity, and performance, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies, and implement team-building initiatives to create a positive and safe work environment.
- ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification: Possess a ServSafe Food Service Manager Certification.
- Food Operations Experience: Have 5+ years of food operations experience, including 3+ years of management experience.
- Cash Handling and POS Experience: Have experience with cash handling policies and procedures, and familiarity with various point of sales (POS)/register systems.
- Computer Skills: Possess computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.
- Relocation: Be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM): Possess a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification.
- Hospital Experience: Have experience working in a hospital environment.
- Language Skills: Possess proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish.
