Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Director to lead our Operating Room (OR) team.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the effective operation of the OR, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vice presidents and administrators to identify and implement non-clinical supports for the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Assess environmental needs and ensure the availability of necessary resources to support clinical responsibilities.
- Participate in policy development and business planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Certification in a clinical specialty.
- Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
- 4 years of progressive nursing Director/Management experience required.
- Education - BSN and Master's in Nursing, Business, Health Administration or related field OR Master's Degree in Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a broad range of surgical nursing roles, i.e. orthopedic, ophthalmology, ENT, and gynecological surgeries.
- Experience managing or overseeing operating room (OR) operations, including leadership or supervision of the OR and/or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
