Job Title: Registered NurseAs a Registered Nurse at Fisher-Titus Health, you will manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
- Develop, discuss, and communicate a realistic plan of care for each patient, in collaboration with each patient/family/support person.
- Demonstrate the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary for the care of the patient.
- Evaluate the identified problems, care provided, and patient's responses to meet patient and family needs to ensure overall quality of care delivered.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.
- Maintain current knowledge/certification/licensure and pursue professional growth and development.
- Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
- Attend all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards.
- Perform all responsibilities/duties required by the units as defined in the scope of service.
- Follow the hospital exposure control plans/bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
- Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.
- Function as a role model and provide support and development for current and new staff.
- Assume all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Direct other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned.
