Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation systems, including video surveillance and toll collection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform system checks to verify the functionality of video surveillance system cameras and toll collection systems.
  • Monitor video monitors to identify and respond to vehicle accidents, mechanical breakdowns, or hazardous debris in the lanes.
  • Ensure the safety and security of our personnel and customers.
  • Perform dispatch duties and maintain a 24-hour log of all calls handled.
  • Record traffic accidents and incidents as requested.
  • Prepare monthly reports on events and response times.
Requirements
  • Strong data entry skills and ability to organize and write correspondence.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality, with a focus on providing prompt and timely service.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows operating system.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Education and Experience

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of customer service experience preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is moderate to loud, with occasional lifting and movement of up to 20 pounds.
