Sales Representative

The Sales Representative - Door Industry role at NABCO Entrances, Inc. is responsible for acquiring and managing client accounts by selling our services and parts through a relationship-based approach. This position delivers on the brand's promise, drives sales volume, and ensures quality and consistency to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize multiple resources to generate sales and target new accounts.
- Monitor and track sales results, customer needs, problems, and competitive activities through oral and written reports to management.
- Make phone calls and in-person visits to prospective customers to provide quotations and follow up with customers.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of door industry materials and services, including automatic doors, manual doors, and hardware, revolving doors, and overhead doors.
- Work with customers to define their specific needs, create preventive maintenance plans, and diversified service agreements.

- Must be an excellent negotiator with the ability to call on new customers/accounts to increase sales margins.
- Ability to achieve new business opportunities.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.).
- Forward-thinking, adaptable, and creative leader, capable of strategic thinking and planning.
- Able to manage change, influence others, be a team player, and gain group commitment.
- Willing to travel daily within the local territory.
- Must have a clear driver's license history.
- Able to work additional hours.
Education, Training, and Experience
- Two years of experience in outside direct sales, preferably within a service or construction industry. Door/door hardware knowledge is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales.
- Experience working with general contractors and end users.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Work is performed a great deal away from an office with constant visits to customers and potential customers. Work environment is dynamic. There may be exposure to factories, including noisy, dusty, and dirty locations that pose safety hazards and have motorized equipment. Must drive, walk, and work in all weather conditions, including hazardous on rare occasion. This job requires a great deal of travel. Typical office equipment, such as a computer, laptop, and cell phone, are used. Reaching is necessary above shoulder height and below the waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. as required to assist with materials; proper lifting techniques required.
