Role Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Quality Program.

Your responsibilities will include acting as the Quality Assurance Representative, where you will oversee Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including the review of materials and the implementation of corrective actions.

In this capacity, you will assess and recommend solutions for non-conforming items, facilitate corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and ensure proper routing for approvals.

Additionally, you will serve as a liaison with clients to guarantee adherence to quality standards, witness technical operations, and provide solutions to various technical challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis of data, perform trend and statistical evaluations, and generate quality reporting metrics.
  • Lead and participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across different teams.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Maintain a detail-oriented approach with robust analytical skills.

Travel Requirements: Some travel may be necessary to support operations and events.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in quality processes and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in a technical discipline related to engineering or science.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in managing multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with missile systems and quality management standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory for consideration.

Work Environment: This role will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility, with various flexible work schedule options available.
