Job Summary

The Distribution Center Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to independent and local NAPA stores. This role involves processing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, including processing and shipping orders.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, stores, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including customer interactions and order status.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product information to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of general office/clerical experience preferred.
  • 1 year of bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • JD Edwards/PeopleSoft experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

This role is based in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity while providing exceptional customer service.
