At Doctors Hospital of Augusta, we are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the procedure room for each procedure, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the physician and other members of the healthcare team during procedures, providing support and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Document all Automated Endoscope Reprocessors and autoclaves, ensuring accurate and timely recording of procedures.
  • Restock supplies and check for outdated items, maintaining a well-stocked and organized procedure room.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a School of Surgical Technology with successful completion of certification exam, or Certificate of completion of the SGNA GI Technical Specialist Program preferred.
  • Previous Endoscopy or Surgical experience required.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.
