We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse-Woundcare-WOCN Specialist to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with expertise in wound care and ostomy management to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultation, clinical teaching, and nursing practice within an area of clinical specialization. This will include direct patient care, education to patients and families, assessment, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of clinical services. The nurse will also maintain clinical expertise in their area of specialization and serve as a resource for patients and caregivers.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Master's degree in Nursing and 5 years of relevant clinical experience. Experience in leadership and/or education roles is highly valued. Additionally, the successful candidate will hold certifications in wound care (CWCN), ostomies care (CCON), continence care (CCCN), and wound ostomy and continence nursing (CWOCN).
