Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Conduct regular checks and record client activities, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to facility standards.
  • Respond to crisis situations, utilizing effective de-escalation techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college studies preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working in a residential facility, with knowledge of mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Guard Card a plus; knowledge of crisis intervention, CPR, and First Aid essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
  • Valid CA driver's license, reliable transportation, and good driving record required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
Personal Attributes
  • Ability to establish and maintain firm personal boundaries.
  • Capacity to work in a dynamic environment, serving the homeless community.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and cope with ambiguity.
Work Environment

Our facility is a healthcare environment, providing mental health treatment to vulnerable residents. As a Client Aide, you will be exposed to varying situations, including client behavior and potential risks.
