About the JobAs a Medical Billing Specialist at Wilshire Health & Community Services Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely completion of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer, and patient billing. You will be responsible for accounts receivable tracking and follow-up, utilizing your knowledge of ICD-10, Microsoft Office, and other required software systems.

**Job Highlights:**
  • $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
  • Full-time position with 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities:)
  1. Enter patient billing data into the information system with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Verify eligibility and authorization for services provided.
  3. Process and bill Medicare, Medicaid, private payer, and patient claims according to payer requirements and organizational policy.
  4. Monitor accounts receivables, resubmit bills to overdue accounts, and alert the billing manager of seriously overdue accounts.
  5. Post all payments, adjustments, and denials from third-party payer paper or electronic remittances.
  6. Assist in preparing monthly billing and accounts receivable reports.
  7. Maintain positive working relationships with patients, payers, and other customers.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of patient and organization information at all times.
