JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a mid-sized dairy operation in Kansas seeking a qualified Livestock Supervisor. The Supervisor will oversee the health and well-being of all livestock on the farm, documenting any changes in behavior. Responsibilities include treating minor injuries or illnesses, administering vaccinations, and assisting with calving processes. The role requires maintaining detailed health and production records and collaborating closely with veterinary professionals during health assessments.
The Livestock Supervisor must be adept at operating milking machinery and troubleshooting any mechanical issues that may arise. It is essential to ensure that all milking equipment is maintained in a clean and compliant manner as per industry standards.
Additionally, the Supervisor will manage dairy staff, ensuring that all operational tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the farm owner. ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
