Job Title: Bridge Foreman

Fort Myer Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled Bridge Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the on-site performance of work and supervising a crew of workers assigned to a particular job site.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a foreman on bridge construction projects, with a valid driver's license and in-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines. Excellent organization and leadership skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate the day-to-day operations on assigned projects, ensuring timely completion of work and proper resources are in place.
  • Supervise and coordinate the crew of workers assigned to a particular job site, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate and coordinate with third-party inspectors, representatives, and others to accomplish operations.
  • Take responsibility for crew performance as it relates to company goals, safety audits, and following company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of foreman experience on bridge construction projects.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve.
Working Conditions:

This job may require working extended hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends. The ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, squat, and twist is also required. Additionally, the ability to stand for extended periods and perform essential job tasks in less than favorable job conditions is necessary.
