Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage online and phone reservations, providing guests with information about available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests, collecting necessary information and assigning rooms
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and provide a warm and welcoming experience
  • Respond to guests' inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Tend and fold laundry when needed
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
  • Run reports and auditing systems to close out the day
Requirements:
  • Work experience as a hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, Night Audit, GSR, or similar role preferred
  • Experience with a form of property management software is a plus
  • Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, for example: Booking and TripAdvisor
  • A strong desire to learn and develop
  • Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Degree in hospitality-related field is an asset
  • Willingness to work over nights, weekends, and holidays
