Job Summary

Apollo Professional Solutions is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Integrated Product Team, you will be responsible for designing and drafting both electrical and mechanical aspects of electrical/electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft electrical and mechanical components, assemblies, and installation drawings
  • Perform overall line replaceable unit (LRU) chassis and housing design/drafting, including overall system design integration
  • Produce CAD models and drawings of electrical harness assemblies, electro-mechanical components, and assemblies
  • Work within the data management system to ensure efficient design and drafting processes
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a relevant technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electro-mechanical design and drafting
  • Working knowledge of electrical engineering and electro-mechanical engineering tools
  • Experience with Creo Design and Creo Pro-Cable
  • Understanding of AMSE Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience working with electrical/electronic systems
  • Sound understanding of Creo CAD modeling, design, and drafting techniques
  • Experience with design, routing, and drawings of wiring harness assemblies
