Join Sierra Space, a pioneering company with 30+ years of proven spaceflight heritage, as a Principal RF Engineer. We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to design, develop, and test our complex products and technologies.

About the Role

As a Principal RF Engineer, you will be responsible for RF front-end design, radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis and filter design, RF frequency planning, analog-to-digital conversion, and circuit design. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary design and development teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in RF Engineering or related Engineering discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices, including various RF modeling, analysis techniques, and tools
  • Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
  • Current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth understanding of SMC-S-016: Test Requirements for Launch, Upper-Stage and Space Vehicles
  • Experience with automated software testing
  • Understanding of the application of Lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., White/Orange/Green Belt)
  • AI&T experience with commercial space vehicles or space systems from demonstration class through category-A missions
  • Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experienced in generation and disposition of product non-conformances
  • In-depth understanding of product development and verification methodologies
