Position Summary: The Senior Internal Auditor will play a critical role in defining the scope of internal audit projects and consulting assignments. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the NYC/NJ area, with occasional travel to client sites in the NYC metro region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate in establishing the project scope for internal audits and consulting engagements.
  • Document and assess existing internal controls across various business sectors.
  • Formulate strategies to bolster controls, enhance profitability, and support management's decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and deliver both oral and written presentations to management, highlighting deficiencies and recommending corrective measures to optimize operations and reduce expenses.


Qualifications:

Master's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Accounting, Finance, Audit Analytics, or a closely related discipline, along with a minimum of one year of experience in the role or related auditor positions.

Essential experience includes:
  • SOX/internal controls
  • Operational and technical auditing within sectors such as real estate, hedge funds, private equity, or other financial services
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles
Ability to work remotely within the NYC/NJ area, with up to 10% travel to client sites in the NYC metro area.
