Job Title: Bilingual Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Nurse to join our team at the DuPont Clinic. As a Bilingual Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Nurse will be responsible for providing clinical care, including moderate sedation, evaluating patients prior to procedures, and utilizing Quickbase EMR to input patient relevant information. You will also work with staff to ensure that the DuPont Clinic complies with all applicable regulations and participate in team emergency drills, training, and meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including moderate sedation
  • Evaluate patients prior to procedures and provide necessary care
  • Utilize Quickbase EMR to input patient relevant information
  • Work with staff to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Participate in team emergency drills, training, and meetings
  • Perform routine checks on equipment, medications, and other supplies
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the patient-care team
Requirements:
  • Full bilingual fluency in Spanish
  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience required
  • Active License RN in the District of Columbia
  • Strong commitment to a person's autonomy
  • Flexibility with scheduling
  • Commitment to improving patient experience of care
Work Environment:

The Bilingual Nurse will work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and collaborative environment. The position requires the ability to work under stress and handle multiple project deadlines. The worker at times will be required to wear a face mask, gown, and/or gloves. The position has a likelihood of occupational exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials.

Benefits and Pay:
  • Salary: starting at $48/hour
  • Benefits package includes: health insurance, a retirement plan (with a company contribution starting the first of the quarter after 6 months of employment), periodic bonuses, paid time off, and 10 paid holidays
