Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinician on our Adult Mobile Crisis Unit, you will be responsible for completing initial comprehensive assessments of clients who have identified a need for behavioral health services. This will involve clinical interviews and contact with collateral providers, natural supports, and family members when possible, and obtaining appropriate consent. You will also be responsible for transporting clients in accordance with CHL standards and procedures.
Treatment Planning and Coordination:
You will complete diagnostic formulations and treatment recommendations, engage clients in safety and crisis planning, and provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when indicated. You will also assess eligibility for services, medical necessity, and treatment preferences, and complete referrals to indicated services and coordinate care on behalf of clients as required by program standards.
Documentation and Communication:
You will document service delivery activities according to program standards, complete consents, releases of information, and other required documentation in compliance with program standards, and complete additional outcome tools, assessments, and measures as required by program. You will also complete reassessments, treatment plan updates, readminister measures, and other documentation at assigned intervals.
Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities:
You will comply with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, attend various meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed, demonstrate use of Quality Improvement in daily operations, comply with all health and safety regulations and requirements, and respect diverse views and approaches, demonstrating Standards of Respect and contributing to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility, and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health, such as social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or a related field. You will also need licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT, a current valid US-issued driver's license, and a registered, inspected, and insured automobile for work-related purposes. A minimum of two years' experience working in a clinical environment is also required.
