We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Substation Protection and Control Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Power Delivery Services Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing substation protection and control systems for electric utilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop substation protection and control projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineered drawings, technical reports, and correspondence.
- Provide construction support and ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Work with clients and national standards to implement design solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in substation protection and control design and/or field testing/commissioning.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and design substation protection and control drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, such as SDS AutoCAD Electrical.
