Senior Substation Protection

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Substation Protection & Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing substation protection and control projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV.
Key Responsibilities- Design substation protection and control projects for electric utilities
- Develop one-line drawings, three-line drawings, AC/DC schematic drawings, and wiring designs
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet project needs
- Ensure quality control checks on completed designs
- Prepare project deliverables, including engineered drawings, technical reports, and correspondence
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 4+ years of experience in substation protection and control design and/or field testing/commissioning
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and design substation protection and control drawings
- Proficiency with CAD tools, such as SDS AutoCAD Electrical
