The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI1GLOBAL is rapidly expanding and seeks experienced Senior Managers for our Hedge Fund Accounting Teams.


Our primary objective is to provide exceptional customer service, accounting, and administration services to our Hedge and Alternative Fund clients.


As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations and resolving accounting issues for clients.


Key Responsibilities:



  • As the primary contact for clients, you will demonstrate expertise in offshore and domestic fund accounting and administration for hedge and alternative funds.
  • You will lead the delegation of funds, coordinate new fund set-ups, serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, and work closely with all parties to provide accurate and thorough accounting packages.
  • You and your team will coordinate and support various year-end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP accounting standards.
  • You will perform due-diligence to ensure clients comply with government laws and regulations.
  • You will implement Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures when reviewing all fund transactions.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your team adheres to our department's rules and regulations designed to prevent generating income through illicit actions.
  • You will generate and reconcile all accounting reporting, including month-end valuation reports.
  • You will review and approve month-end valuations prior to distribution to clients with a goal of 100% accuracy. Additionally, you will authorize wire payments from fund escrow accounts.
  • You will correspond with customers regarding day-to-day inquiries, including questions on transactions associated with the fund(s), administration servicing planning, and reporting of funds and financial documents.
  • You will connect with investment managers, transfer agents, and sales and service teams to resolve open issues and questions, contacting internal technology support and vendor support when necessary to resolve production issues or system support queries.
  • You will conduct performance appraisals, monthly one-on-ones with supervisors and analysts, and provide career pathing and training.
  • You will ensure staffing requirements are met by assessing resource needs, interviewing candidates, and hiring employees.
  • You will provide and champion a team environment, including individual development, promotions, and disciplinary action.
  • You will support the new business development and relationship teams for prospect calls, client visits, and presentations.
  • You will facilitate the onboarding of new and converted clients by collecting client requirements, submitting custom requests, and communicating key results to team members.

Requirements:



  • BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in Hedge Fund and/or Alternatives Accounting & Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisor or manager-level responsibilities.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
