Position Summary:

We are looking for an Accountant to deliver essential support services to our team and internal stakeholders. This role involves applying accounting principles to evaluate financial data and generate reports in compliance with GAAP. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing system data entries and validating outcomes across various platforms.
  • Reviewing accounts payable, including invoice verification and vendor payments.
  • Coordinating the distribution of monthly statements to department heads, ensuring timely and accurate returns.
  • Preparing entries for interest and miscellaneous checks, maintaining precise investment reporting.
  • Compiling daily cash activities and assisting with quarterly financial reporting.
  • Supporting month-end closing activities, including fixed assets and accrued expenses.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and analyzing significant fluctuations in balances.
  • Providing assistance to other accounting team members as needed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, along with two to four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
