Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for operating cash registers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of customers
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment, including stocking shelves and cleaning the sales floor
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve store goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Will constantly lift 1-15 pounds, frequently lift 15-20 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
