About the Role

We are seeking a Part Time Cashier to join our team at Goodwill of the Olympic and Rainier Region. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and managing inventory
  • Answer phone inquiries and respond to customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
  • Exceptional analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills

This position does not require computer skills, but you will have access to a computer and other technology as needed.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Cashier role, and will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and you will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds.
