As an Audiologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive hearing and balance services to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating hearing and balance disorders, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive hearing diagnostic evaluations, including pure tone air/bone thresholds, speech reception threshold, word recognition, middle ear analysis, and site of lesion determination.
- Interpret results and assess patient lifestyle, providing counseling on evaluation results, recommended follow-up, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best practices and positive care outcomes.
- Provide in-service training for provider staff and patient education for group visits and seminars as requested.
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience (concurrent with Doctorate training).
- Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.).
- Audiologist License (Washington) required at hire.
- Four (4) years of experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology.
- Expert level competence in required areas with specialty skills that may include advanced vestibular evaluation, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, Cochlear Implants, and tinnitus treatment.
