Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Supervisor to oversee safety protocols at our client facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that all operations adhere to the highest safety standards, promoting a culture of safety among all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor ongoing operations to ensure adherence to safety practices and foster a positive safety culture.
  • Lead emergency response efforts and manage site remediation activities.
  • Perform health and safety audits and interventions, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee employee safety training programs and ensure all personnel are equipped with necessary safety knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with client safety departments to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
  • Respond to incidents and manage follow-up reporting and investigations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to teams, enhancing their safety awareness and performance.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as First Aid, Confined Space, and Fall Protection is preferred.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC Card.
