Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Financial Analyst to join our team at Naval Sea Systems Command. As a key member of our Business and Financial Division, you will play a critical role in managing and advising on financial data and policies to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute analysis and functions such as accrual management, carryover management, overhead and service cost center execution and expenditure.
  • Develop, determine, and interpret cost accounting policies and practices.
  • Analyze and recommend cost and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.
  • Lead teams in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees.
  • Train or arrange for the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks or projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating financial data and policies.
