Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Travel Assignment

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Tampa, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapist

  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

This is a transport team assignment, working with a RN and a Paramedic team. Ground and air transports are included, with hospital-to-hospital transports only. No scene calls are required.

Client Offer:

  • Pediatric Transport RRT
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Daily Census: Average 5 transports
  • Ratios: Days/Nights/Weekends - 1:1
  • Years of experience required: 2
  • First-timers accepted: YES
  • Weekend requirement: Every other
  • Certs required: BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS
  • Is on-call required? NO
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? NO
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? To be discussed in interview if applicable
  • Locals accepted: NO
  • Pending License accepted: NO
  • RTO Restrictions: NO RTO in contract. When applicable, RTO may be discussed in interview
  • Guaranteed Hours: Apply after the first call off per pay period
  • Special Requirements: NICU, Peds Critical Care, Peds, Transports work setting experience required; airway management, medication delivery, nebulizer, O2 therapy, arterial punctures, vent management, Neonatal/Peds procedures, ABG interpretation, drawing arterial blood gases skills/experience required; Cerner EMR required; COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious)
