Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team on a contract basis for a minimum of 13 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice and in accordance with physician orders, policies, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain proficiency with all respiratory and blood gas lab modalities and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the interprofessional care team
  • Document and bill for services in the electronic medical record
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills as an ambassador for the department and the Center
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program
  • Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 6 months of Respiratory Care experience, including adult critical care
