Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient therapy and treatment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification.
  • Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
