Experience Required:
The ideal applicant should possess 4 to 6 years of comprehensive secretarial and administrative experience, with at least three years in a direct support role. Experience within the Federal Government sector is highly regarded. Candidates must be able to obtain security clearance and demonstrate proficiency in travel arrangements and bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute general office functions efficiently.
- Conduct basic statistical analysis and budget-related tasks.
- Oversee and coordinate calendars and schedules.
- Prepare various documents including reports, memos, letters, and travel vouchers using relevant software.
- Review and interpret incoming communications to assess importance and manage distribution.
- Sort and disseminate incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
- File and retrieve essential documents, records, and reports.
- Draft responses to routine inquiries.
- Engage in research and compile findings from studies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Maintain and organize library documents.
- Communicate proficiently with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Welcome visitors, verify clearances, and manage access for individuals and groups.
- Provide general support for acquisition processes.
- Carry out all responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Educational Requirements:
A minimum of a high school diploma is required for this position.
