Job Summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of our neonatal services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to neonates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact state.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in Neonatal Care.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an APRN in neonatal care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish proficiency.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
