Responsibilities:
NV5's Ventura CA office is on the lookout for Field Technicians and Special Inspectors who possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Soil Inspection
• Reinforced Concrete
• Masonry
• Spray Applied Fireproofing
• Structural Steel/Welding Inspection or Non-Destructive Testing

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should hold:


• ACI Level I Field Technician certification
• ICC Reinforced Concrete certification
• AWS CWI certification
• ICC Structural Masonry certification
• ICC Fireproofing certification
• ICC Structural Steel Bolting or Welding certification
• Certified Welding Inspector or NDT (Ultrasonic, Magnetic-Particle, or Liquid Penetrant) certification.

DSA Structural Masonry Inspectors are highly sought after.

Caltrans certifications are advantageous.


Our office operates throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles counties, and occasionally beyond. The majority of our projects focus on public infrastructure, adhering to CA Prevailing Wages.


The compensation range for this position in California is $20.00 - $35.00 per hour; however, the actual base pay may vary based on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Restricted stock units may be included in the compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the specific position.
