Job Title: Special Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Inspector to join our team at NV5 in Ventura, CA. As a Special Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Verify that construction materials and methods meet industry standards.
  • Identify and report any defects or safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve any issues.
Requirements:
  • ACI Level I Field Technician certification.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: soil inspection, reinforced concrete, masonry, spray applied fireproofing, structural steel/welding inspection or non-destructive testing.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
