The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety's Executive Office is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to work on pioneering efforts to develop policies to support effective oversight of electrical corporations' efforts to reduce utility-ignited wildfires.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a top advisor to the Director and have significant broad responsibility for policy formulation and recommendations that directly relate to the execution of department's statutory requirements.
- Advise the Director in handling matters related to electrical infrastructure safety, electrical utilities, underground excavation safety and general departmental policy, governance, modernization, and administration.
- Develop and implement policies to support effective oversight of electrical corporations' efforts to reduce utility-ignited wildfires.
The reporting location for this position is 715 P Street, 20th Floor, Sacramento, CA.
