Aerotek is seeking Quality Inspectors in the Fairfax, VA region
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections on products in various stages including Receiving, Manufacturing, or Integration and Testing, while also reviewing product build documentation and end-item data packages.
• Execute thorough inspections on both Electrical and Mechanical components at the individual part level as well as at the assembly and sub-assembly levels.
• Maintain quality standards and craftsmanship practices in designated work areas by understanding and applying process specifications and quality workmanship standards in daily operations.
• Contribute to the development of training materials for the Quality Assurance team.
• Create nonconformance reports for any discrepancies identified during inspection activities.
• Conduct audits of work environments to ensure adherence to ISO 9001/AS 9100 protocols and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Perform comprehensive reviews of product build documentation for configuration audits to verify that as-built products meet as-designed specifications.
• Serve as a safety representative during critical and hazardous operations.
- Thorough inspections of Electrical and Mechanical components
- Creation of nonconformance reports
- Auditing for ISO 9001/AS 9100 compliance
