Job Summary

We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver to join our team in Memory Care. As a Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with ADLs, including continence care, showering, grooming, transfer assistance, and meal assistance.
  • Encourage participation in daily recreational activities, such as crafts, games, music, and exercise.
  • Ensure residents remain clean, dignified, and presentable at all times.
  • Provide emotional support and enrichment to residents.
  • Utilize a company-provided phone to access care plans and chart care accordingly.
  • Follow care plans and document provided care accordingly.
  • Keep internal charts current and know of each resident's needs.
  • Observe, document, and communicate any physical, emotional, and mental changes in condition to the Care Manager or Director of Memory Care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of high school education or GED.
  • Experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Reasonable expectations of mathematical, technical, and reasoning skills to perform essential job responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to communicate with residents, family members, and staff in a professional and respectful manner.
