Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Pharmacy Technician courses at Lansing Community College's Downtown Lansing campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy and experience teaching at the college level.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Pharmacy Technician courses in didactic and externship formats at all levels of training
  • Develop and deliver course content consistent with official course syllabi
  • Assess and grade student performance
  • Participate in course assessment, department meetings, and professional development activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Current unencumbered State of Michigan Registered Pharmacist license
  • 5 years combined hospital and retail pharmacy technician experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population and as a member of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) doctorate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Master's Degree in Education, Leadership, or related health discipline from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Teaching experience at the college or community college level
  • Course management system (Desire2Learn) experience
