Job Overview:The Coffee Specialist is the cornerstone of our café. This role is dedicated to honoring every guest by providing exceptional service and high-quality products. The Coffee Specialist is a true professional who maintains a positive demeanor to ensure our guests return, as they are the foundation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivates consistently satisfied guests at all times.

• Delivers quality beverages consistently for all guests.

• Upholds quality store operations.

• Contributes to the profitability of the café.

• Takes initiative to learn all facets of the Coffee Specialist role.

Qualifications:
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience:
• Previous experience in a customer service position is highly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:
• Must possess excellent customer service abilities.

Physical Demands:


The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

• Must be able to hear timers and coordinate with fellow team members.

• Must be able to assess food quality and interpret production charts/recipes.

• Ability to engage with guests in a friendly, hospitable manner.

• Must accurately operate the cash register and handle transactions.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Position regularly involves lifting product cases weighing up to 70 lbs.

• Pushing and pulling carts is required. Regular bending to lift items and supplies. No kneeling.

• Mobility - regularly moves throughout the café. Continuous standing.

Work Environment:

• Physically demanding - prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying throughout the entire shift in an indoor setting.
