This role requires a strong project management background, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with clients to support business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Lead and manage project teams, including team members, contractors, and consultants
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community groups
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of the water resources industry
  • Experience with project management software, including project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management principles and practices
  • Professional Engineer licensure (PE) in Minnesota or equivalent
  • Experience with CADD software, preferably MicroStation
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
