Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the Conservancy's mission and goals
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and Board members to achieve organizational objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders, and nonprofit organizations
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the Conservancy's programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with staff and Board members to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective management and operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a nonprofit or conservation organization
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, strategic planning, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage financial resources effectively
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between $170,000 and $200,000 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and PTO benefits.
