Key Responsibilities:

Senior Level Designer - Meta Duties:
Identify and resolve workflow challenges to facilitate efficient team collaboration.

Establish and maintain level design pipelines, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

Collaborate with leadership to align levels with key narrative elements and gameplay mechanics.

Utilize scripting languages, such as UE4 blueprint, for level setup and scripting.

Create comprehensive level plans, transitioning from concept sketches to 3D blockouts and final art.

Work alongside Environment Artists to enhance the aesthetic and overall composition of levels.

Coordinate with the level design team to manage assets and data related to each level.

Develop a strong understanding of hardware limitations and design accordingly.

Collaborate with systems designers and engineers to implement global game systems that support levels.

Collect and respond to game testing feedback to optimize player experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on senior or lead roles.

Proven experience in mentoring and managing design teams.

Ability to identify and address design challenges related to level flow.

Intermediate proficiency in Maya or similar 3D modeling software.

Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Open to constructive feedback and willing to iterate on designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong background in narrative development and storytelling.

Familiarity with Unreal Engine and Unity.

Compensation:
$137,000/year to $193,000/year plus bonuses, equity, and benefits.
