Maintenance Engineer

21c Museum Hotels is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all equipment and work areas, documenting all parts used and parts needed to be purchased, and reporting any unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Report any unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer to ensure prompt attention and resolution.
- Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure a positive guest experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management, and building maintenance skills.
- Ability to read instructions, repair manuals, and other technical documents.
