Job Responsibilities:

As a Multifamily Construction Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning to execution.
  2. Allocating resources for assigned projects.
  3. Supervising onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  4. Ensuring adherence to quality construction standards and proper techniques.
  5. Managing daily operations of the construction project.
  6. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
  7. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and reviewing project deliverables.
  8. Communicating effectively with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  9. Preparing internal and external reports regarding job status.
  10. Planning proactively to prevent issues and resolve any that arise.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, focusing on multifamily and commercial projects.
  2. Proven track record of managing all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
  3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA regulations.
  4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  5. Exceptional leadership and management capabilities.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
  9. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
  10. Certification in construction safety or a related field is preferred.
